But her response, which essentially amounted to nihilistic resignation and a perceived inability to do anything about it, means she’s giving tacit support by trying to remain neutral on a moving train.
She bemoaned the supposed impossibility of making a video essay on the topic, but such a thing feels incredibly straightforward to me. She could easily have leaned into that feeling of nihilistic resignation, and explored it. What do we do, when met with horrors that are genuinely difficult to comprehend?
