There I was cleaning one of my AR rifles at my desk while watching some slop. I tripoded the rifle by deploying the bipod and using the end of the barrel as the third leg. But I’m a clumsy ding dong and didn’t properly seat it before grabbing some other cleaning tools. Fucking tipped over into my giant monitor, one of the nicest pieces of tech I’m pretty sure I could ever hope to own. Didn’t break it, but it scuffed the anti reflective outer layer. It’s maybe 3mm x 6mm, and some carefully applied Vaseline makes it barely noticable, and it’s off to the side. But fucking a, it’s so annoying when I dick up the nice things I have. That’s all, thanks for listening to me complain.
The good news is that Screen is the primary exception to everything getting more expensive.
You can walk into any Goodwill here with a $100 note and leave with what would have been $10,000 worth of Screens 20 years ago.
If trends conrinue, in 5 years, 27/32" OLED monitors will be 300 CNY used.
