Whenever I see Brody and Bandido mentioned together, I think they were both in the main event picture in ROH, pre-Tony Khan buyout. Amirite?
Don’t recall if Brody was (wasn’t watching too much at the time), but Bandido was at the very least, he was the final ROH champ before the buyout.
Death Before Dishonour 2021, Bandido defended in a 4 way against Brody. It was the first ROH I’d watched in about 6 years and I was like “who is this monster”.
I didn’t watch again until final battle, but looks like Brody was upper card for the remainder of the year too but mostly as a tag team, I guess they didn’t wrestle each other again. Still I was thinking about this connection when they teamed the other week.
I think they were, but not sure if they were at the same time. Brody was already in AEW as part of the House of Black when the ROH buyout happened, IIRC
They were. The timeline adds up.
Brody and Bandido were in a 4 way elimination in the main event of the last Death Before Dishonour in 2021 for the world title.
And they should have both been on the card at the last Final Battle in 2021, except Bandido had to vacate the title because he got covid.
I thought I did remember this but it feels so long ago I wasn’t sure.
