I didn’t know it didn’t use email at first. Mine had an inaccessible email and I was able to recover my account a few years ago by giving the support info about it, like people’s names in my contact list. It was fun for 3 seconds and I haven’t returned since.

My ICQ account probably still exists, but it’s from before you could attach an email to it and I’ve forgotten the password 😕
