I can’t really see things going back there economically, though - modern technology is just too good, and isolated illiterate peasants can’t make it. Edit: Unless we really fuck up and cause nuclear winter or something. I suppose if we’re starting from scratch being agrarian again is on the table.
Feudalism was status quo in most of the world since the dawn of civilization and it was replaced in many parts of the world.
