Furthermore, If it would be a one off I would understand, but now there are 12 out of 20 posts that are older than 1 year on the front page when you sort it by “Active”. The oldest one (4 years) have one comment from the same time.

Me, I love sorting by old
I would imagine dampening how much of a boost old posts get would fix this issue.
