I am new to lemmy and can’t seem to figure it out yet. I made my first post in gonewild and it suddenly disappeared. Viewing the gonewild community I noticed that I only see some older posts, even if I sort by new. When I log into another account I can view more posts and even the one I posted. Can anyone help me out with this?
I think if it’s set to Undetermined that means you get everything. But I don’t know for sure.

Just tried that, when it’s set to undetermined it really doesn’t show a lot of posts. So basically it really only shows the posts from the language my profile is set to. I guess english is the best choice then… Still think this is a very strange funcionality
It really isn’t useful if you’re viewing images, obviously, but it has has some benefit in other realms. It’s a good idea for an international market, but it will take time for everyone to buy into it and get used to it.
