Is she a repub? I searched pretty hard to find out when this story broke the other day and couldn’t find confirmation of a political party. The best I could find was a page saying she was unaffiliated. I expect she’s a repub cause Louisiana, but I held off on posting about this pending confirmation.

That was a surprisingly tough search but I found this website in 90’s design that has her listed as independent:

It has her listed as no affiliation. If this town is like mine, then you have to be unaffiliated to run for mayor.
You got further than I did. It’s surprising that her political party is mentioned in exactly zero stories I found about her.
