Was this the mastermind that made nationwide building society change their blue frontage to gray?
I feel like there needs to be more focus on objectively improving the highstreet. For example filling the empty shops and promoting the kinds of shops/eateries we want/need.
We have too many vape/tat shops and buble tea shops that in my opinion add little value to the high street.
Also I get the feeling that the rent is so high that (mostly) only chains can afford to operate in Canterbury. I was gutted when pork&co closed citing this as the reason for their exit.
