iBooks had ports on one side (bottom). MacBook pros have ports on two sides (middle two). MacBook Airs have ports on one side (top). This is pretty far from a fair comparison, but it’s undeniable that we’re getting fewer ports overall.
Then again, who wants mini-vga or FireWire 800? I don’t miss them. I literally added loads of old cables for both to a box of electronics recycling last month. They’re practically useless (unless you have VGA on a server).
