I just found about this distro, which is relatively new (2021). Its specificity is that it doesn’t features any GNU software by default, which I find interesting.

I suppose he’s talking about the usage of
maketo build ports, which will be difficult to tackle because many software rely on GNU make features in their Makefile. Moving it to BSD make requires a lot of patching, and I’m not even talking about tools using autotools/cmake.
