    Emergency situations are definitely something else, I agree that it’s important to answer phone calls when there’s a decent chance someone close to you might need to reach out using someone else’s phone, especially if it’s a local area code. The worst thing that’s happened to me (so far) is that I missed a call from a company that wanted to offer me a job. They sent me an email asking to call them back, and now I work for them :3

      Woohoo!! I’m glad they handled it that way and didn’t get all weird about you not answering like some people do. Sounds like they handled it perfectly! I’m glad it worked out and I hope you like working for them! :)

        Yes, I’m glad they handled it so well, too! tbh signing an employment contract always feels a bit like making a deal with the devil, trading x hours of my life for y money. I don’t want to bore you with the details, but for a part-time job while I’m finishing my degree, it’s okay :3
