  • Another side note in addition to what JRaccoon said, I think it’s important not to assume the worst when someone posts AI art. I’ve seen AI art that I didn’t realise was AI-generated until someone pointed it out. Making mistakes is human, and if it’s a genuine mistake, I see no point in being angry at someone.

  • This is an important one, I think. Some people don’t want to see NSFW art but still have the blurr filter disabled because that’s not just for porn but all kinds of things you might not want others around you to see. There are also a bunch of NSFW communities on this instance for people who do want to see porn. I’m no advocating for or against banning NSFW art, but it needs to be clarified to make sure everybody knows what to expect from this community.

  • I know what I want to do with my life. I want every breath to be an experience, an experience of this beautiful world that we live in. I want to embrace nature and share my love with others, work together, and build a better tomorrow for the next generation. I want to live every moment to its fullest, feeling every emotion that life throws at me, from sadness to joy to anger to calmness. I want to be human. I wish that was possible in this world.

I like this one! Furry art usually focusses on the furries in the image, which is understandable, but it’s also cool to see furry art that treats anthro animals as one small part of the scenery. The brutalist architecture in the background doesn’t distract from the two focus points, the moon and the flame in the hot air balloon, and at the same time, the lit windows harmonise with the pattern on the balloon. The flame in the hot air balloon and the moon have the same colour, which I really like because it creates a link between the two. By the looks of it, VUNC is also having a good time and enjoying the peaceful night.

I’d assume that the large file size is the reason this is hosted on archive. That makes it a bit harder to access, but I understand that it needs to be this large in order to see VUNC’s face clearly. Like I said, it’s a very cool image. Good job!

  • I’ve been using GIMP for image manipulation for many years and recently started using Krita for digital art. LibreOffice is my go-to office software, and my computer runs nothing but Linux (Mint, not Arch, but still). So much of the software I use is FOSS, and it’s great. I would sacrifice my first-born child to keep using it.
