Health officials have issued a warning about toxic, death cap mushrooms after a young child in Vancouver consumed one.

    I know this is just a kid, so they didn’t know any better, but the words from Mushrooms Demystified by David Arora still stand:

    The cardinal rule is: Don’t eat any mushroom unless you are absolutely sure of its identity! Or–WHEN IN DOUBT, THROW IT OUT!

      Exactly. Even my dog knows better. Although I have still been keeping him away from wild mushrooms in case he wants to prove me wrong.
