Games@lemmy.world•RV There Yet? is a dad-core co-op game about doing a very bad job driving home from your campervan vacationEnglish
1·2 months agoA great game. Played it through till the end and we had great laughter.
Only downside is that the developers don’t plan on further developing the game.
Shame cause it has great potential and is unique. Wrote a bunch of things that I thought it lacked and maybe things that should be added to improve the game experience. How it looks now, they won’t be continuing to develop the game as its ‘done’. Only game breaking bugs are fixed ^^
Lol. Last picture at the bottom third. “WiFiAnal” xD (Sorry, I’m childish)
I tend to recommend Brave for the ones who aren’t technically savvy. For that, its good.
For me who is really into privacy, I’ve always felt uncomfortable with brave or any chrome based browser. So I go with TOR and LibreWolf

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Nepal Bans 26 Social Media Platforms, Including Signal
1·3 months agoI have no plan in going to Nepal. However, let’s say I get signal in one country where its allowed, and then I travel to Nepal where its banned. What would be my struggles? I can still use signal, right? Its just that I won’t be able to download it from Nepal via google play store (which I’m not using anyway). Signal can still give away the APK file but would assume Nepal censors their website at the end of the day. Could be bypassed via VPN though, if its still legal in the country of course (probably not).
That’s awesome. If I have the choice to be careful, why not take that option? Thank you! <3
I don’t see how we can stop it. If they don’t succeed this year, they will try the next, and if not next, they will try the year after until it works. How do we stop this? We can’t. Its like cancer. You can only slow the process down by being against them. Thats it :/ we all will be surveiled and there is nothing to stop it.
All we do as privacy advocates is to jump around. If one thing becomes illegal, we jump over to something else that provides privacy once again.
We are slowly becoming cashless, but new tech arrived and we started with crypto like monero. Once crypto is banned, we find different methods in staying anonymous or private :)
Don’t worry. Linux has Wine and can often emulate windows games. Few occasions its even better framerate than actual windows. But not as common to see :P Great recommendation!
Added to wishlist! Great recommendation!
Looks very promising. Sadly can’t afford to buy it. But will add it to wishlist once that time comes around <3
Ooo, i LOVE timesplitters! Awesome game! Wish more games today was less PvP online and more campaign co-op. That game is amazing.
I never even thought of this. Thank you! Bonus points for saving storage!
Some games I enjoy a lot are:
- Advanced Wars 2 (GBA)
- My Little Universe (PC)
- Overcooked (PC)
- Out of Space (PC)
- Unrailed (PC)
- Biped (PC)
- Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (PS2)
- Trine Series (1-5) (PC)
- It Takes Two (PC)
- Ratchet and Clank: Deadlocked/Gladiator (PS2)
Love Beastars! (Being cryptic to avoid spoilers)
Tap for spoiler
I just felt the first act of S3 was a bit rushed and that they introduced a new character. There was little interaction and the rest of the season I never saw the character again :P (the herbivore neighbor).
I wish the episodes were much longer and the seasons were many many more. I just want more lore and fun interactions between the characters. Think S3 part 2 will be the final one though.
Love legoshi <3

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Does anyone have a Faraday bag for phone that works?
7·4 months agoSome phones, even if they are turned off, still send telemetry data.
I use GrapheneOS and for safety reasons, when I know I won’t get a call, or if I have to travel somewhere discreet, I’ll use one :P Works well for me!

I knew about this. I simply wanted something that already is accepted in most places, but also isn’t PayPal but can still create virtual cards for payment. Even if they were to be leaked, no harm done because they’re virtual and probably only had the exact amount of money it needed to complete a purchase (once). So it has 0 at the time of a leak or is probably removed.
