Its unstable as a target platform for development. You never know when it will break API/ABI compatibility. It’s why most containers target Ubuntu, Debian, Alpine, and UBI. The versions can be locked and you can be assured that your software won’t randomly break one day after and update.
For some reason people have taken that as being unstable to use as a system, which hasn’t been the case for me either.

Its not even about the speed. Typing allows me to properly get my thoughts out. If something sounds incorrect or confusing, I can always go back and change it before sending. You can’t unsay words as easily.
I’m looking to use it for both options. Lighter games I would love to use in standalone mode. Then if I want heavy VR like racing games, I can use my desktop for extra power.

That is the main reason I haven’t gotten a framework either. It’s hard to compete with used especially when it already has your top feature.
I didn’t play the full generation. I moved to PC in 2009 so I dodged the worst part of the generation. I also wouldn’t say it was the best generation. The reason I would say it was the last good one is the lack of a required install. You could buy a game, then start playing it right away. If I have to sit through an install, I might as well just play on PC.
It was the start of it, but it wasn’t common practice, at least not towards the beginning of the generation.
It was the first generation for DLC to be more common, but it felt like an addition and not just restoring intentionally cut content.

16 is too high. I feel that under 13 would probably be the right age. Kids need to be slowly integrated into things they will deal with as adults, so having a 5 year range allows more gradual access.
If they really want to address the issues of social media, then they need to target the algorithms. They are designed to be as addictive as possible. These social media companies also need to be held accountable for what gets shown in feeds since it is a form of speech.
Agreed. It’s all about the drama. They are humans and make mistakes, as long as they make mistakes equally for all opponents, then it shouldn’t matter.
The larger issue with NFL refs is that they are only part time. That means they need to have other jobs. It also opens them up to potential corruption for people who want their bet to be a sure thing.

The issue is removing another option for acquiring a game as well as a lack of ownership.
Physical media allows you to do whatever you want with your copy of the game. It allows the market to determine the price of the game instead of just sitting at whatever price they want on the digital store.
There is also the issue of download speeds. There are still many people in the world who have awful download speeds and/or data caps. Those people will lose the option to have the entire game on the disc.
I use syncthing for other stuff, but I consider my SteamDeck and HTPC as untrusted devices. I will give ludensavi a look.
As a side note, is there any built in save syncing for Dark Souls II: SotFS? I started my save on my HTPC but would like to be able to play on either system.
