Being in the simulation is very different than being the simulation
“yes, but I’ll be fine”
I swim in deep red waters. They are more than fine with this part. They celebrate raising the debt for exactly this.
They’ve had this feeling for decades that the debt is a run away train so that the government can pay for stuff they really really don’t like. Finally, that run away train is going to do something they really really like.
That it’s built to run over all of us is lost on them.

But in the general election? He’s got your party’s nomination, so back your party. Your Cuomo boy got primaried, get over it. (Edit: the ‘your’ in this sentence applies to the party members listed in the OP, not the commenter and/or OP)
This is just money talking. Rich people don’t like the ones that look like they won’t bend to them. Hopefully he continues to not.
Also, this is yet another reason I don’t associate with political parties. Super not a fan of them. It’s the system we got, and I do vote with the dual party power structure in mind, but you’ll never see me signed up in one.

There must be more than this provincial life!
Well, you’re wrong. Or just another pathetic liar.
It wasn’t fine when democrats did it. In fact, when immigrant family separation was happening under the Obama administration we the people protested. (One of the images passed around of a crying kid in a cage is from those Obama era protests) And we took the administration to court and we got that shit stopped. The administration followed court orders and ended family separation.
