To be fair and balanced, I used to weigh everything when I was being super strict about my diet. I wanted to make sure I was hitting my macros exactly.

I would do shit like tare the scale with the bottle of olive oil on it, then add a few glugs to the pot, then weigh it again and write down how much I used. I’d do that with everything (even carrots) so that I would have a super accurate calorie/fat/protein count of the soup by the end.

Now do Moulin Rogue

People follow recipes to the gram for soup/stew? Just chuck shit in the pot until it tastes good.

Which book to read quiz.

While there are recurring characters, locations, themes and ideas, each book is an independent, self contained story. As the other commenter mentioned, it doesn’t really matter where you start.

Also, there may be a large number of books, but they are all really short and easy/quick to read. I went from being intimidated by the number of books in the series when I picked up The Colour of Magic to crying during the epilogue in The Sheppard’s Crown in an eye blink.

At least it doesn’t use magnets, which as we all know, don’t work when they get wet.

What makes me mad is pressing the button and then having to wait an additional 5+ minutes for the ped signal to change because it needs to finish the current green phase for cross traffic and an advance left turn phase before letting peds go.

I got in this argument about CG when the “live action” Lion King remake came out. Its not live action do you think they went out and filmed actual talking lions? It’s still animated, just in a different art style. And imo that art style is much worse for the story.

Eat more fiber on a regular basis.

That’s not the point. Its a reminder that in the late 90s/early 00s, MS was slapped with multiple antitrust lawsuits for their evil actions. Its not

“Dead as shit” is relative.
Shit is teeming with all sorts of life.
Leaving shit in place creates diverse and heavily populated ecological islands.

We had that ready to be implemented. Then the current government killed it.
