Boycott US@lemmy.ca•Interac launches Konek to widen online payment options | Business News | thecanadianpressnews.caEnglish
2·10日前Seems like this is being slowly rolled out. Maybe long term, it will be expanded to any site that sells to Canadians? If something like Stripe incorporates it, it will probably start to work for a lot of sites at once.

20·10日前Linus videos have clickbait titles like that, and it’s in reference to some news articles calling GOS an OS for criminals
Title and thumbnail aside, the video was a positive review of GOS and was made with help from a GOS team member. I probably should have added the extra context before it got downvoted away 😄

1·11日前Right, that makes sense

Nostalgia@lemmy.ca•How Tamagotchi Trained Millennials for the Era of Needy Devices | The WalrusEnglish
9·28日前Millenials were born 81 to 96, and Tamagotchi was still somewhat popular in the 2000s, so it still works IMO
Although it’s not unique to millenials

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are some physical items that should be available at libraries for people to borrow?English
8·1か月前Our university Astronomy club started a program like that, it’s great! Community members donated their old scopes and now people can borrow them.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are some physical items that should be available at libraries for people to borrow?English
4·1か月前I think it makes sense to pay a deposit and get it back when you return the item. It would make the library more comfortable to lend out quality items. The hard part is knowing what to look for when it’s returned.

2·1か月前I was mainly sharing it for those that are interested in the details of the changes. I agree they’re not the first, and groups have been making these changes for a few years now. Signal did another change a few years ago:
