  • Definitely no personal fatigue. It’s a genre I dont feel moved by in the slightest. I will say there is a bit of observer fatigue, in the sense that the obsession with the genre is annoying and distracting. Wading through all the discussion is cumbersome and the weird “bro-ness” of it all (for lack of a better phrase) is super silly. It feels incredibly youthful, and I mean that to say inexperienced adult-aged children trying to prove how cool they think they are, is super off putting. But it’s by no means something the genre owns or is responsible for. Just a symptom of the larger issue of insecure people latching onto things. And I dont think there is a solution as long as 20 year olds exist lol but no, I dont feel pressure to play anything regardless of genre or popularity. That only mattered when I was 12.

  • The first two things that popped in my head were my thermometer and weed poker tool so ill go with those. As far as the thermometer, any meat I cook is juicy and perfect and it also doubles as an oil thermometer so I can make sure my temp is good for deep frying. It’s become pretty indispensable in my kitchen. The weed tool I have has a flat bottom to pack bowls avoiding the tar on the bottom of my lighter. The poker part is self evident, and it’s also got a little flat scooper leveler kind of tool which is great for keef and the like. Useful and also makes me feel like a fancy stoner, and what stoner doesn’t want to be a fancy stoner ya know?

  • The holy roman empire, and the crusades happened, so the idea is as european as it is american. Or arguably, more european. Either way, it definitely pre-dates america. And don’t get me wrong, fuck america all the way to hell and back. But humans have been attempting to commit genocide at least as long as written history has existed.
