Scoop is such an excellent package manager for Windows in my experience. It makes the best of what it’s given and it’s usually as seamless as using Linux.
All Microsoft developer tools (and that is the target user for Winget) have felt so janky to me. Also, their documentation sucks most of the time.

I myself don’t think stretching one’s foreskin over a Nintendo DS is a very “safe for work” idea. Context matters.
It’s fair to point out inconsistencies in enforcement of the rule if you notice them though, not something I can comment on.
Yes, it is, so you won’t usually see someone downing vodka walking through town. Still, what that usually means is if you want to drink outside you just go to a place where there’s not a lot of people around or where you know police isn’t going to bother you. Drinking beer on a bench next to a residential bloc is not unheard of (guilty as charged here).
Ironic how we in Poland seem to have stricter than usual rules on alcohol advertising and yet beer adverts are absolutely everywhere and drinking culture is a big part of social life.
I remember being driven to another city, around a 300 km ride. I counted at least 6 or 7 roadside ads for beer, alcoholic or not. I’m talking massive banners put up next to the high-speed roads. It baffles me how this is legal.
That and the fact you can buy alcohol truly everywhere, I’d struggle to find a store where you can’t. Even tiny groceries ran by a few people usually have an entire wall of beer, wine, vodka etc. It’s sold at gas stations, hell, it’s sold at the parliament’s bar.
I sadly doubt anything will come of this, there’s very little political will to bring about significant change in this area.

People assume “trans” means trans woman.
I used to think that a majority of trans people were women, because that’s the representation I encountered most online. It was rather surprising for me then to, in a Polish book about transgender experiences, read a psychologist (or therapist? I can’t remember exactly) say that they usually had trans men visit them and that trans women were somewhat of a rarity. It makes me wonder if this gender disparity exists in any form in reality and why representation online seems to focus around trans women more often.
The book I mention is Ciała obce by Paula Szewczak.
I last used Chocolatey some years ago so I can’t compare them but they both serve the same function at the end of the day. If choco works well for you, there’s probably not much reason to switch.
