Uuh… skipping over the fact that this is a pointless article, didn’t Asimov himself write the three laws specifically to show it’s a very stupid idea to think a human could cover all possible contingencies through three smart-sounding phrases?

Edit: I know it’s not the Slaaneshi symbol, but arrow parallelism, etc.
Edit 2: now conforms to format
Yet another thing already perfected by humans. It’s called “drunken monologuing.” Sounds like words/coherent ideas until one sobers up.
Dammit, I always forget to check…
“Just sit there and take it, we’re all friends here!”
I mean… everyone’ll want the D once they’ll standardise it:-?
Yes, I wanted to really bring out the simultaneous artificiality and humanity of the money. The money is unruly and spoilt, it has become wilful and uncontrolled, but the money is like our collective child, a product of the human mind, so it is part of us. I want people to say “oh, this is just like my spleen, or my tooth, or my impacted toenail, it is part of my being, but it does not control me,” you see.
As a Millenial, I can 100% say that I do not miss being young. Granted, the busted lumbar region and cranky guts aren’t fun, but the familiarity with my own body and the gained cognitive complexity are worth a helluva lot more to me.
I do miss those contexts and how they made me feel, I miss seeing my friends carefree and jovial, and I miss drum and bass and punk gigs. But I was a moron back then, and the shit I did to myself, I wouldn’t wish on anyone else.
No, there is one thing: I miss not needing as much sleep as I do now.
12 years in QA, babyyy (please aim for my amygdala…)!
Edit: also, my standard rate is €1.5 per simple piece, €2 if you want squiggles.
I hope they retroactively patch Story Mode difficulty into everything FromSoft has ever produced, just to mess with the gooners❤️
I, too, prefer to take my natural disasters while sitting on the toilet. It is a place of calm🧘
I did not know that, either about JoJo, or Rand. I only read some of Rand’s philosophy, her personal life didn’t present much interest after it became clear where she was going with her ideas.
Well, “Any Frustration” would certainly fit, in a way!
From what I remember, Rand could not emotionally detach herself from her work, so everything I’ve read felt as a frustrated “fuck you all, I’ll get mine.” She had a rough upbringing, not gonna fault her for her traumas, but she seemed to thrive on hating everything which wasn’t “everyone for themselves,” to the point where she’d simply refuse to answer questions challenging that by frequently insulting the person who would ask.
Edit: oh, and if I remember correctly, I think she lived off of food coupons/stamps and state aid for quite some time, while proselytising that they encouraged layabouts…
Edit 2: now that I think about it, Jordan Peterson’s overall presentation and composure kinda’ reminds me of Rand. Except Rand didn’t have a lobster kink, afaik.
JoJo gives Ayn Rand a magic wand before they were invented so she can jill herself to Nirvana instead of writing bad philosophy. Hence why guys would let JoJo use the time machine.
Other than Ayn Rand, I don’t know any of these people, btw, so this is wild speculation on my part.
This one’s a free sample of my work, I can be contacted via Lemmy.
Cash only, thank you!
Ooh, I completely forgot about those mixes, thank you! Most deffo should be even tastier! I kinda’ started mainling basil and oregano since starting to bake pizzas (it is a crime against humanity to not add basil and oregano to a pizza, that is all) and I forgot other seasonings existed:))
And, yep! Plus they work with absolutely anything that way, and make meal prep a lot faster if you’re in a rush (I would eat a double-portion of what you posted, honest truth!)
Saw your comment as mine got posted, exactly! Those were cautionary tales, not how-tos! Like, even I, Robot, the Will Smith vehicle, got this point sorta’ right (although in a kinda’ stupid way), how are tech bros so oblivious of the point?!
