  • And if you really don’t want me to call you or call you back … text, email or send me a message that says

    CALL ME

That is the single most disgusting uninteresting uninformative and ugliest thing that anyone can text me. You can text me a dick pick, ransom demands, blackmail images, racist crap or gore pictures of something and I wouldn’t complain and probably might even respond to you … but if you just text me ‘CALL ME’, I’m blocking your number or contact and never answering anything from you again.

  • It was always simple for me

Stars Wars is about war, fighting, conflict, heroes, villains, basically the Wild West but in space … and to upgrade the story a bit, the turned it into WWII in space … then to upgrade it even more Cold War conflict in space … basically its always about war and the always simplified message of ‘Good guys against bad evil guys’

Star Trek to me has always been about hope and change. A future where humanity goes out into the cosmos and runs into all kinds of situations (including war) and deals with everything in a civilization where everything and everyone is complicated but we learn to work and live with one another as a functional society. We also learn to admit everyone and anyone can take the roles of being ‘good’ or ‘bad’ depending on what is happening and nothing in society is ever simple or clear. Star Trek has also taken the position of constantly holding a mirror up to our current society and showing us how backward, undeveloped and uncivilized we can still be while also giving us hope that we could be much more.

  • He’s telling people in the room about everything about buying oceans, what it mean, how great it is, he has all the evidence in this computer, he’s reading all this great stuff about buying oceans, he’ll get China to pay for it, yadda, yadda … and the computer hasn’t even been turned on or plugged into anything.

  • Thanks for that … like I mentioned to friends and associates in public and online … I thought it was just important to highlight the event as he was US President, and also most long lived US President at 100 years of age … and the fact that after his retirement, he did so much international aide organization work, either to support or to just lend his name and personality to it.

It’s becoming a rare thing to see a world leader honestly, publicly and through their own actions actually join in and take part in grass roots organizations and even get down and dirty to the point of working at an actual construction site, not just for a single photo op but on a regular basis whether cameras were rolling or not.
