92·2 年前RedHat still pushes their changes upstream whenever possible, and is one of the largest OSS contributors. These changes were to make it harder for companies like Oracle who feed off of RHEL. The same reason you can’t view RH support docs any more, Oracle used to reply to their paid users (running RHEL clones) with copy/paste from the RH docs.

If you have a lot of carpet you probably want an electric/powerhead attachment (the spinning brush uses a separate motor instead of airflow). For hardfloor with the occasional rug, the bare floor and maybe a turbo head should be enough.
Currently down for updates, but does a great job of avoiding SEO abuse/blog spam/etc. Takes you back to the earlier days of the internet when it felt like there were more forums/individual sites/etc. They’re still out there, just hidden under all the junk.



What about compiler toolchains? Shared libraries? Debuggers? There are many things that don’t fit into a simple “select this file/directory to allow access” model. For some apps that’s fine, but for others it isn’t that simple. I’m not saying it isn’t solvable, just that it isn’t currently solved.
