Also, I just noticed that justice, equity, diversity and inclusion initialism is “JEDI”.

This would be interpreted as the league being forced to define “woman,” a popular conservative talking point […]
Why is it a conservative talking point? Conservatives are the ones that know where the hard lines are drawn, let them bear the burden of defining who exactly deserves the title they want the authority to award.
And whores!

Until 10 years ago it was totally possible. The emergency operator could see your IMEI, that you had no SIM, and which antenna was giving you coverage, but the network wouldn’t deny you the call. It was possible to get a legit 112 call that looked like it had no SIM because the phone had suffered damages during whichever accident prompted the call.
Actually the 112 service used to brag about being able to get your call in the most miserable scenarios.

Worth noting the word has nothing to do with the animal, that’s written with one r and one l on Spanish. Gorrilla (kind of rhymes with Aaliyah) is the diminutive of gorra (cap), gorila is what you call a big bouncer (not to their face).
Probably something like “they were snorting dissociate in the toilet”, “they were snorting scream in an alley”, “while snorting amaze in the conference room”…

I think you wanted to comment in this other post: https://sopuli.xyz/post/50093147
I don’t agree at all with the person you are answering to, but the meme blames a whole class of people based on a birthdate they never chose nor cannot change.
I’ve seen plenty of compassionate boomers, that’s why it makes me sad to see so many memes stirring intergenerational division on Lemmy. They feel like a carte blanche to blanket hate someone.
Also people seem to forget that eventually they will be next on the generational chopping block.
The fake Wordpress login looks like something fun and easy to do, is there a tutorial somewhere? All I find is information about WP phishing.

Hadn’t seen that one specifically, but yeah, looks like a good example to me.

Seems like the content industry in general is evolving towards cashing in on thirst, even if it’s not ASMR. The most banal tutorial about any craft or activity suddenly has some not-so-accidental innuendo, or the creator chooses the most not-so-innocently-revealing attire, or acts weird-but-it’s-all-in-your-mind towards the tools or materials…
Nothing against whatever someone wants to put out there, but if you are after the tutorial and the algorithm feeds you the plausibly deniable softcore it’s a bit exhausting.

Of those mentioned between 50 and 70 years old, the ones up to 61 are Gen X.
Also the trillionaire is Gen X.
I have seen so many boomers going to the front of demonstrations to make the police hold back their batons.
It’s not a generational issue, it’s a media bombardment of manufactured issues with a generational spin. In that picture we should be angry at not having enough benches for everybody instead of blaming the beneficiaries of that dumb sign.

Pitting racism doesn’t work so well with left-leaning audiences, so the billionaires try with ageism which is not so frowned upon. No demographic is without a wedge to exploit.

To be fair to them, it’s a reader’s question, and the answer says that in reality, the CO2 we’re breathing out is part of a natural cycle, by which our bodies convert carbohydrates from CO2-absorbing plants into energy, plus water and CO2. As such, we’re not adding any extra CO2. In contrast, burning fossil fuels like coal releases CO2 which has been locked up for millions of years, producing a net contribution to global warming.

And Google is definitely going to use it to do more things than the ones you want it for.

Their image of what they consider “one of the good ones” wants to do that.
Tobi Lütke, the guys that thinks the votes of the poor should be worth less.
