

The 44 release is delayed, and in testing right now, while the team swaps the controller daemon and adds the new OGC kernel if I’m not mistaken. There’s some first-hand information here, but you’re right that the delay could have been better announced.










Does feel small, but I would say bordering on 100k is nothing to scoff at. This is an incremental battle, as seen from Valve’s approach. Progressively chipping at it and you’ve suddenly cleared the major hurdles. I personally think Linux is ready now for a majority of users, so it’s exciting times.
