Maybe you know it but if not read Mark Twain’s Essay “The Aweful German Language”. It’s a fantastic and bellyachingly funny thing to read. I am a native speaker and have to admit Mark makes so many brilliant points.

Every color that we see is created by different types of receptors being stimulated together. A linear combination of three of these types. Arguably there isn’t really a wavelength that only stimulates one type of receptor exclusively as their absorbtion areas overlap - so it isn’t even that precise to call one receptor the “green” receptor as it sees a continuum of wavelength (of which a lot are also detected by the (so-called) “red” receptor.
It’s a little egg-and-hen-problem with the naming here.a way out of it would be to only speak about spectra if it’s in the physical realm and color of its in the percetral realm.

I had lobbyists from car companies threaten me in my own office.11·3 months agoI can only imagine. I think there’s few cities that have undergone such a transformation as has paris in the last 10 years. It’s lovely to see. But all the anger that people have felt from that is probably almost exclulively projected onto her. She’s the lonely reason for alll the hardships that the carbrained old people in Paris have to endure. That’s what they feel everyday.
I think she should have a Car-only-day before the election where everyone who switched to a bike is driving by car for the day. The resulting chaos would be a nice reminder for what the city has gained in lofe quality during the last decade.
It’s easy to get accustomed to improved circumstances like more bike travel. But people seldomly forget if something has negatively affected them - especially if it was caused in some remote way by her policies.

Someone should do this! There’s already this drain-unvlogging-videos. Now I need powerwashing the inner city videos. Cleaning-algae-from-driveway-videos are lame. I want filth removal under a busy bus-stop! Get yourself a neon construction vest and let’s go!

Well doing it so abruptly would probably cause a lot of trouble. I would already be glad if there was a transitional phase where ip would cease to exist once you’re dead and next would only last for x amount of years (not your entire life).

Musk made Tesla all about himSelf. In a way he was the product - you could buy his cool car. Be a part of the company with that cool weird funny CEO. He posts memes just like you!!! Loom at his funny flamethrower! How random! Hahaha! He would also lie about so many features that nobody could actually believe it was a lie (full self driving next year™, battery range etc). So they still went ahead and bought it - and had a lot of sunken cost associated to his cool image.
But oh no! It turns out the guy is actually an asshole, a racist, likes nazis, is an delusional and unpredictable drug addict, not that smart, born with money from aparthheit-enabled-exploitation - who could’ve known!?!?
now people don’t like him, so they stop buying his product.
What is the problem with a BSD-license? I’m not familiar with the different open source licensing models and their problems.

You know who had a big euthanasia program? The Nazis. They murdered people who were unworthy to live. They killed (among many groups of people) people born with disabilities and justified it as “mercy”.
I think you meam something else so please be careful what you are writing. It’s easily misunderstood.

Ultimately RAM and processor will probably be indistinguishable with the human eye.
That’s why there’s quant mechanics. The simulation can always invent invent thinga on the fly to reduce computational load. It’s like lazy execution when soneone’s looking i.e. me - let’s not kid ourselves: the simulation is only simulating my surroundings - of which all af you are part of. Yadda yadda, there’s only me.
On another note: the simulation can also always rewritebparts of my brain and retroactively change stuff in my memory making me believe different things. So i could also be reprogrammed to believe I saw this or that insteas of
