I came here to ask the million dollar question, they answered it on their GitHub.
How we are differnt from Librewolf? Umbra uses the built in firefox password manager instead of recommending extensions. Netflix works, and we do not enable RFP ( resist fingerprinting ) by default as it breaks many web pages. We also have an Umbra Control Center ( about:umbra or bottom left in setting menu) that allows you to set many privacy settings and set profiles for individual web sites. ( may be more differences just the top of my head)

If you like a LOT of slice-of-life, fluff, cuteness, and iyashikei, I can’t recommend Yuru Camp△ enough.
Highly recommended IMO.

I’d start with old groups that made to one these lists: ‘A Certain Fansubber’s Index’, ‘Seadex’s Index’ (Drive) | (Website).
Unfortunately, special effects and those kind of things are less common these days.

I don’t like green Chrome so I’ll switch to rainbow Chrome and add an extension.

5s. I guess sometimes that AI nonsense could be nice.
The new ones don’t always work with the keyboard well.
What’s the point of a software that doesn’t work well with keyboard?
(Excluding art software like GIMP/Krita.)
Gosh, I hate those new GUI UEFI BIOS interfaces so much.
The problem with the new ones they usually DON’T HAVE the option to change back to normal TUI-like layout.
E: one more paragraph

Like, maybe a manufacturer’s default ROM is worse than iPhone, but is it actually better than a GrapheneOS phone?
If I had to use Windows as my main machine’s OS I’d:
Make sure they /actually work/ on your computer; not for nothing Debian started to include proprietary drivers by default.
If you switch to <fully-free-os> and nothing works, then what?
We would all prefer no proprietary code whatsoever, but prefer even more that stuff would work.
If you really want to go for fully libre route, I’d consider buying –in the future or now, depends on how much do you want it right now– the correct hardware for it.
Imagine using Linux when you can use TempleOS.

Just commenting on your display name. Man of culture.

So, like, Ventoy with persistence?
This is cute and all, but I’ll bet that <country-s-intel-agency> would have other ways to get into your computer.
edit: wrong ending bracket
/rant: can we get angle brackets back for god sake?

I wish we could get ‘nothing’ as an option.
At overall some options for de-clattering the menu.

The picture is from Firefox mobile.
I feel like in a lot of countries, especially Asian, what you’re supposed to say about people and what you really think is different.
