  • The whole thing sure sounds reasonable to me.

“Unwilling to engage” is a really nice way to describe these folks. Society has given up on them and they hate it in return. Ask them. They are happy to explain it. They hate the fukin world, and have plentiful reasons for doing so. Really. Spend some time talking to these folks instead of theorizing. They are perfectly clear about the situation and how they feel.

Many (all) of these camps are in the middle of neighborhoods that would rather not host a colony of social dropouts that hate them. You know, the residents are concerned about their kids, etc. So it would be nice if they had some way of dialing down the amount of hate that concentrates at the shelter. Is this the correct way? Beats me, but it looks like they had to do something …

  • Installed the Audio Player app. It’s a bit less odd for playing music than the Music app.
… but the Audio Player dashboard widget is worse. So I’m using both apps.

I patched from 31.0.8 to 31.0.12 to 32.0.3. No real problems.
I might get around to fixing these. I tried for a while after I upgraded. No luck.
My API Deploy Damon wont connect and the Websocket looks like I need to install something?

I think I need to do some config on the back end.
The help pages I’ve found for this stuff are all on github.
There’s info there, but they kinda slam through the topic without much explanation.
This is a hetzner default nextcloud setup, so I may well have to refer to their docs too.
My instance works fine; I’m not too concerned about these errors. Any input is very welcome.

  • The broccoli is an excellent source of fiber. Fiber fills you up. Fiber is how you are supposed to know you are full.
The fiber is washed out of all the processed food. It doesn’t fill you up properly. So you eat more.
Its all chemicals, man. They are feeding us shit that’s designed to make us eat more.
So, eat that broccoli. And some beans. You won’t want the burger if you’ve had a healthy meal.

I own two GL.inet routers. I liked my Flint so much that I bought an Opal for my office and on the road. These machines are well provisioned. The OpenWRT reviews of them say to just leave the stock bootloader installed. I’ve installed all sorts of packages, multiple subnets, VPN, adblock, etc. GL.inet gear is good stuff.

  • Um … ozempic happened.

The ‘body positive’ people finally got their way. See? Being fat really is a disease.
Now you can get medication and fix it. (For many people) that makes it a disease, not a behavior issue.
No willpower or even life changes required. The magic medicine fixes it all.

To be clear, I don’t condone the perspective above. Either of them.
Body positive and chemical living are sides of the same coin.

I lost weight by cutting back booze, eating properly, and exercising regularly. You know. The old way.
But I did that at the exact same time as ozempic hit the market, so I’ve an interesting relationship with the product. Ozempic has changed society more than we all quite realize.
