Billygoat@catata.fishto Electric Vehicles@slrpnk.net•The "standard" car charger is usually overkill—but your electrician might not know that | Technology Connections6·17 days agoThis is what I did. My dryer is on the other side of the wall shared by my garage. Electrical code speaking, the circuit that is used for a dryer in the US can only have one outlet, But nothing really stops you from adding a second outlet. I just make sure I don’t run the dryer and charge the car at the same time to avoid popping the circuit breaker, Like avoiding using a kettle and a toaster oven the same time on the same circuit.
This gives Indie folk music album cover vibe.
I would say that opinion is expected from someone who doesn’t have legs.
Tbf, that community is one of the most active that isn’t news or memes.
I pictured flipping the rack upside down with the pizzas still on them like you were cooling and angel food cake🤣

Wendell Potter, a former vice president for corporate communications at Cigna, is the president of the Center for Health and Democracy and writes the newsletter “Health Care Un-Covered.”
The Center for Health and Democracy(CHD) is a non-profit organization led by renowned healthcare expert and insurance industry whistleblower Wendell Potter that works to transform America’s system of health coverage. The organization’s core belief is that healthcare should be driven not by industry profits and greed, but by the needs and rights of every American to get the quality care they need without concern for cost.
Billygoat@catata.fishto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Anyone else here that stopped watching TV almost completely?English1·7 months agoTbf, all the well written shows of the last decade only made 10-13 episodes per season. This was one of the major reasons for the writers strike since they only got paid per episode.
Since you are there you might as well try some Chanpuru. It is a stir fry dish with Goya but it can be a bit strange for first timers. Not sure on what’s there anymore, been 15 years. Yoshihatchi is probably still there, pretty good sushi joint.
I also recommend that you hit up Peace Memorial Park if you can make it down to the south side of the island. Can’t remember if the tunnels are near that but those are interesting as well.

Thanks! So then the judgement is two fold. First to split chrome from google. Second to restrict google from paying to be the default search engine on any browser.
Would other search engines be able to “pay to be default”? My understanding is if this went through then browsers wouldn’t be able to take money from any search engine to be the default.
