Hacking is a crime that ignores borders, I didn’t expect that America would arrest anyone for the crime of hacking it’s enemies like China.

They want it to be part of America on the map to feed Trump’s ego. The minerals there aren’t really worth extracting.
There were reports America was gonna offer everyone $10,000 for Greenland.
America has the money to easily offer every citizen of Greenland $5,000,000. If it were me I’d take that and move to Norway or something. But of course they weren’t prepared to offer more than chump change to the few thousand people there so they went straight to espionage.
Like, Trump could easily make a pretty good deal from America’s perspective. There’s basically nobody there. But he’s choosing coercion.
Well, anything but American, Russian, or Israeli.
China I’m still undecided on, though it’s nearly impossible to avoid. The reason isn’t so much war crimes as just becoming a bit uncomfortably powerful and who knows whether that’s a good or bad thing.
Well, Uganda’s not a death sentence. Unlike El Salvador or South Sudan.
This seems self-destructive. America is gonna really struggle without semiconductors for the next 10 years.
China and EU are both export-oriented economies. The US is the only major import-oriented one.
You didn’t read my reply. I could’ve done better knowing people would just skim it but you can’t accuse me of not reading when you yourselves didn’t.
It should be obvious I was listing them as a counterpoint, and it was wrong of y’all to assume I didn’t know that Netflix, Amazon, and Disney were American. It wasn’t even a case of online sarcasm, since my second sentence made clear I was using them as a comparison point to say “Crunchyroll is the best of them”.
Still, I was maybe a little bit too snarky given the state of reading comprehension in 2025 (which is “skim it and if it doesn’t make sense then assume who you’re talking to an idiot”).
Can y’all not read? I listed six different American options and then said “Crunchyroll is the best you’re gonna get”.
I’d add a note just to make what I’m trying to say even more obvious.
Crunchyroll aside, your options are Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, YouTube, Hulu, Adult Swim, etc.
Crunchyroll is the best you’re gonna get, unless you want to get Britbox or something (which I assume does not have anime).
EDIT: I listed 6 American platforms to demonstrate that your options are Crunchyroll or nothing.
Really high latency in Australia, the genre search is a bit lackluster (I have zero interest in Reggae, for example), and I can’t bookmark individual songs.
I’ll still use it, the next-least-American option is Spotify and they’re going all-in on AI. It’s just kinda a disappointment.
EDIT: There’s also Soundcloud, I forgot about that.
My habits are formed. It’s no longer even driven by hatred of America’s actions. Even being better alone won’t bring me back.
That article is a week old, and I’m guessing the trend hasn’t sustained given the current state of the US stock market.
Did it work for China? Last I checked China held basically all the cards and America got peanuts out of that deal while China got MASSIVE concessions.
I’ll be switching to OpenSUSE soon. Just gotta finish my Epic Games Free Games backlog.
Football fans will do anything to watch the cup. Don’t expect them to not turn out.
If I want to go from Australia to Europe, I’m probably going through Canada or Mexico. Don’t really want to go through the UAE either, or over (self-proclaimed) Israeli airspace.
It isn’t. The Democratic party is made up of wealthy elite with no principles other than winning election. Their policies around minorities might be different, but for the most part the Democrats are similar in their strength of character.
What?
