I do have a hard time believing that “most americans” or “redditors” (as in most redditors?) approve of genocide or facism. They might have other/more nuanced ideas on some issues than you. But for the record I’m not American.

I do believe that you will be able to provide examples of crazy comments on some issues. But in my experience, when you leave the internet and talk to people in real life - most people are sane, moderate and do not hold far left/right opinions on most of the issues discussed like this on the internet.

I’m not talking about whether the content of an opinion is balanced or not. I’m talking about that if you take into consideration all the different views; are there just a few vs many, are the views leaning heavily in a specific direction (right/left), etc.

In my experience this kind of comments and “far left” views are the norm on Lemmy. I think that in this regard Reddit had (I have not been there since the API shutdown) a much more balanced and wide spectra of political views. Not to mention that everything wasn’t political there. Here I feel like everything takes a “far left”/Marxist turn.

To me, this homogenous political environment turns me off and is one of the primary factors behind me not really using Lemmy that much.

Drayan Bratych has applied to the Swedish Sports Confederation for his organization to be officially recognized. They have not done so yet and said that they don’t intend to prioritize it or something along those lines.

So it’s not official I’m any way, but what’s described is what Drayan intends to have the “sport” be.

Imagine that. Just going on YouTube, searching for a game, pick up your controller and just play. Like no installation and no loading times. That sounds like the future! But yeah, I guess there are some issues that needs to be ironed out before we’re there.

I thought that both raising a skeleton and using corpse explosion consumed a corpse. I know for sure that corpse explosion generates essence for me. And I’m 90% sure that raise skeleton does as well.

However, corpse tendrils does not consume a corpse.

Maybe it’s because I spent most time there, but I think that Kyovashad is the nicest hub. It’s the only town where I don’t have to check the map find anything.

Just finished the campaign. This is the first game in years that I enjoyed in a way that makes me loose my sense of time and just play!

I think part of it is that I barely looked anything up, barely looked at streams/videos, played just a little bit of the betas. That way I really got the sense of novelty and exploration playing the game.

I have gotten no cosmetics as drops yet. Got that Ashava horn from the second beta though!

Semi off-topic: I’m still a bit confused about the loot goblin. I have still seen less than 10 of them after a slow (doing many side quests etc) playthrough of the campaign. And of the ones I have killed or almost killed, I think the loot is really lackluster for being such a rare and special encounter. I have gotten only 1-3 rares per goblin. And compared to what the legendary drop rate is throughout the game, the loot goblins seem to fill no function apart for being rare themselves.

Different languages do excel at different architectures / designs. Either through performance or how the code is written.

But yeah, sometimes people make too much of a deal of which language something is written in. And it becomes a discussion of trends or personal favorites instead.

I bet the hardest thing is finding devs who are actually proficient in Rust.

I actually really like the grim look of it. A splash of color wouldn’t hurt though.
