@cstross @mirrorwitch Yes, declare war like Putin did in Ukraine, even though the war was lost before it began. It weird how everyone has these faint hopes we’ll come back. Sorry, this is us until the the end.
Probably what will follow is us attacking China, losing and then breaking up into four successor states: East, South, Midwest, and West. Each already has it’s metropolis, so break along the perforations.
