I’ve been using Nobara. If you are looking for an open system to tinker with, it is a great choice. It runs with pretty bleeding edge packages though.
14·3 months agoI really don’t understand this. I put a fairly popular Linux distro on my son’s computer and never needed to touch the command line. I update it by command line only because I think it’s easier.
Sure, you may run into driver scenarios or things like that from time to time, but using supported hardware would never present that issue. And Windows has just as many random “gotchas”.
Same thing when they send a no-name out with the away team in Star Trek: TNG.

Other countries take this as a warning, sexism isn’t limited to the US. If the margin is that close it will unfortunately have a similar effect. Wish people weren’t this way.

A big bright screen uses more battery. They could make the phone slightly thicker to accommodate a bigger battery.

1·2 years agoThat would actually require me to buy any of the “deals” on useless junk they are offering this year. Had anyone else seen the pile of junk they are pushing? Black Friday has become a joke.
1·2 years agoIf it weren’t for the dev tools in Chrome, I never would have switched in the first place. But they got me stuck on it. But I’ve had enough of their shenanigans.
Reformat it and upgrade the RAM and it did pretty good.

Yet again, this is not a meme. This is an idealogical pamphlet. I don’t even disagree with the message. But it’s not a meme.
I do see a trend with the conservative base here where getting them to admit they are wrong about ANYTHING is like a personal attack and they simply are not equipped with the emotional prowess and maturity needed to learn from it.
