Plus it is not on me to assess evidence. It is on the researchers. What I do isn’t necessarily to check the evidence myself but trust in the community of hundreds of researchers to tell it if they find actual evidence. When there is no evidence, there is no paper. That’s the case here, there is no peer reviewed article to read. Because that genocide claim is a story.

But again, there is no proof to provide about that genocide because there is no genocide. I have no proof to give to convince anyone that something doesn’t exist. That is basic zetetic.

You do not have sensible arguments explaining how the vast majority of researchers have consensus on the fact that Russia has no legitimate, good, reason to invade Ukraine in the view of someone concerned with human rights. By sensible, I mean not one that involves the theory that all researchers of the world are on a pay roll. I have a method. Maybe it isn’t right and maybe it is misleading. But I have an actual method to check the news. It is robust and hasn’t failed me in the past. This method is rejecting the Donbass genocide story.

I believe in researchers and Wikipedia. I believe in community knowledge. And there is an actual consensus of scientifics from all around the world including Russians who says that there hasn’t been a genocide in the donbas.

If there was a genocide in the donbas, it would mean that hundreds of independent researchers were in some sort of international plot to make the Russian be the bad guys. And the Ockham razor tells me this is very unlikely. I am a researcher myself, and I know that researchers in my country are free to make the research they like. The Ukrainian are no angels, and I am aware that they poorly handled the Russian-Ukrainian matter in the east. But the science is consensual about the fact that there has been no genocide. The only people pushing that rethoric is the Russian gov.

Le problème du harcèlement en ligne est réel. Je ne suis en général pas favorable aux interdictions de l’état mais il faut qu’on trouve une solution collective à ce problème. Les parents seuls ne peuvent pas régler ce problème pour leur enfant. Leur seul moyen d’action serait de désocialiser leur enfant. Ce n’est pas viable. L’internet avec lequel les générations XY ont grandi est totalement différent de l’internet d’aujourd’hui. Le danger n’est pas comparable et il n’est pas de même nature.

Très clair. Malheureusement je trouve que c’est déjà difficile de faire migrer les gens de whatsapp vers signal alors que c’est essentiellement le même programme à l’usage. Alors Matrix…, ça me semble complètement hors de portée.

En même temps je suis d’accord, en même temps les collectivités locales doivent bien gérer une situation concrète. Donc oui, ce serait bien que la société soit différente, structurellement orientée vers le ré-emploi et ne produisant pas déchets. Mais en attendant ce n’est pas le cas et nous avons effectivement des déchets à gérer alors que faire? Je pense que ces micro améliorations individuelles sont une bonne chose pour régler la situation à court terme et je pense aussi qu’il faudrait réduire les déchets à la source. Dans les deux cas, cependant, ça doit se traduire par une volonté politique de la part et des institutions, et de la part des individus.
