Sort of. They choose a house leader who has a seat until he wins a seat. No he can’t go to Parliament. He doesn’t get a salary from the tax payers.

Why were there five, yes five poll workers at my polling station (which is just a small library) standing next to a sign and pointing in the same direction of the sign? Is that worth $28/h for 5 people of our tax dollars? Let’s do the math.

Polls are open for 12 hours.

28 x 5 = 140 140 x 12 = 1680

According to elections Canada there are roughly 20 000 polling stations in Canada (Source: https://electionsanddemocracy.ca/canadas-elections/canadas-election-process/elections-step-step)

1680 x 20 000 = 33 600 000

Being conservative and assuming each polling station has the same amount of poll workers, it’s costing us $33.6 Million dollars for people to do the job of a literal lamp post.

The best way to get people on your side of an issue isn’t to yell at them on the side of the road and disrupt the daily lives of people.

You need to include community service in your cause.

Here’s a great idea… Why don’t these “organizers” organize something like a community trash cleanup on a massive scale? You can solicit awareness, donations and all the proceeds from the recycling collected can go to a Palestinian charity.

That’s not going to happen though. People don’t want to actually work for their causes. They just want to yell and that’s why I and many other Canadians have such a hard time giving a damn.

The ironic thing is, that once you actually take physical sciences and start to understand how the brain functions, you learn that males and females have very different brains and these differences in career and educational choices are completely normal.

The “problem” is exclusive to mediocre sociologists and their ego.

The way people (especially on the left) talk about politics is very reminiscent of ancient anthropomorphism. People like to assign human emotions to countries in order to judge their relationships. Understanding the nuances of political structure is very difficult, and if you don’t understand (I am one of them) it’s better if people don’t get involved.

I’m watching the Rebel News feed which is showing the interaction and honesty it wasn’t Ezra that was unhinged. The guy wouldn’t stop screaming and yelling. Emotional regressives ruin it again.

The truth is Canadians do watch Rebel News, whether you think of them as fringe or not. Refusing to answer questions like what happened in 2021 only adds to their narrative. Although, I am not personally a supporter of the Green Party, Annamie Paul earned a lot of respect from a lot of Canadians that night.

Why trust government employees to be the only people with guns? They kill people too and justify their killings with politics like “war” or “crime prevention” as if they have an acceptable perspective that allows for the death of other humans. Gun control needs to go both ways and they should stop taking guns from citizens until they are willing to disarm themselves.

This is what I was talking about the other day, but the regressives just mass downvoted and claimed I was some kind of Trump lover. You can’t just get rid of excellent technologies just because you’re emotional about who runs the company.

You can’t just yell and cry at Tesla dealerships, block roads or harass citizens because of whatever political justification you’ve got in your head. That’s selfish and serves only to vindicate your personal feelings while holding back progress.

A more viable solution would have been to let Starlink build the infrastructure and then lobby for a Canadian telecommunications company to buy them out once they have the means to maintain and expand that infrastructure.

Justify it any way you want. Convince yourself however you like. You’re still just acting like an emotional bully at the end of the day. Very un-Canadian to be so mean.

Why go after the Auto industry when a GM plant just closed in Ontario? Do you actually feel good about risking more jobs? You’re really going to risk livelihoods just to have your feelings vindicated for a weekend? Jeez, talk about selfish…

People are usually afraid of something they don’t understand. You’re so hyper focused on a few political issues that you are not seeing the enormous benefits this and other technology can have for all of humanity.

Who cares about the owner and how he’s making money. Everyone dies, he will be dead eventually. Technology lives on. Don’t be regressive.

It’s incredible that people are willing to throw away excellent technology over emotions. This his been a problem throughout human history. When you look at the bigger picture, why would anyone want to be a part of that cycle?

I’m not talking about the terminology which I am quite aware of. I’m talking about a feigned nationalism based primarily around foreign issues with an underlying dependence on US trade.

True patriots and nationalists, and yes there are plenty, don’t see this as a fight. They see it as a disappointing loss for the United States. The real “fight” is unfortunately with our own government and their capitulation to a global sense of political subversion that erodes history and establishes ideology as a national identity.

This whole elbows up thing seems very gimmicky. Most of it is based on the dislike of Trump and not pride in our historical achievements. I’m not going to believe these people are patriotic until they start calling for the unboxing of our former Prime Ministers and oppose the renaming of historical parks, universities and roads.
