In my soups I generally have some beans, potato, carrots, onion, celery, some greens (spinach, chard, escarole, something) and then maybe some grain.

I love to put buckwheat in soups to give them some body. Just make a veggie stew and throw some cooked buckwheat in at the end.

In the US context, it is nice that we already have a lot of nukes operational. They provide like 30% of our energy and it is cleaner energy than fossil fuels.

But nukes are uneconomical when compared to wind and solar. They are slow to build and they tend to cost way more than projections. Wind and solar deployments are predictable and don’t have overruns.

So keep the nukes we have, but invest in more solar and wind

The title Dr belongs to anyone who has a doctorate. I called all my professors in college Dr and they were all historians without a license to practice anything. The title goes with the degree, not any certification to practice.

To be clear, Dr Phil is a piece of shit. But he is a Doctor.

He has a doctorate in clinical psychology. The same degree my wife has who works with patients. Her patients refer to her as Dr because that is what she has earned

He holds a PhD which is a doctorate, giving him the title Doctor. Maybe we as a society should stop respecting people because of their titles.
