Technology has been ingrained to the system. Largely due to capitalism. School districts were sold on the idea that every kid needed a chromebook to learn, a decade+ later we are seeing the increase in technology in classrooms hasn’t helped. Those additional devices and licenses to use their software aren’t cheap and impact class sizes and # of staff that can be hired.

Emergency responder in a big city? Trees will fuck up a car no doubt but not usually the tiny ones lining the streets of major urban centers, most I see get to be maybe 5 in across. But it may all be location dependant.

Why would you think the same things don’t impact your knees and joints? Nobody is less than for being overweight, but talk to anyone who once was overweight / obese (im one) and they will tell you that going up stairs without being in pain / winded is definitely a signal of healthier living.

That maybbe true but feel free toTell me what is then. Developers are less interested in developing for a platform with heavy restrictions. If you have some sort of alternate take on that I’d like some of whatever you are smoking.

Sorry I wasn’t granular enough for you I figured you’d get the whole thought - if I am not allowed to sell anything but ice cars ( can only use WebKit on the largest group of consumers) what would be the incentive for me to create one unless I can also afford to create a platform or brand to release them on (nobody with the capital to do this is going to make something to the benefit of the users)

Kind of a strange semantics argument at that point. Saying you can only build with X tools certainly impacts development. Why develop something that would never be allowed to be released?

They seem to be showing an Absolute refusal to implement video chat / screen sharing. Until then it’s a non starter for a lot of groups.
