Ironically, Archer handled it pretty well. He initially blew it off until he had to experience it for training, then he had a lot to say about how horrible it was, with a 1000-yard stare and everything. It was a little surprising, given how ridiculous the show usually is.

😅 All good. About 10% of people think cilantro tastes weird, and describe it differently from those who like it, often saying it tastes like soap. I’m in that category, and it’s probably genetic.
I was a little surprised by the down votes, and honestly don’t care if other people like it (don’t really care about the downvotes, either). I’m more concerned about the people who say it tastes like soap and still want to eat it. And I miss the fuck cilantro subreddit.

If they ramp up production and the bottom falls out of AI, they could be left with large product reserves, and people may still be reluctant to buy. One way to increase demand is to lower prices. Now, if they are the only company in this position, things may not change much. But if more than one are, the other can supply the market at a price that’s acceptable to them and the consumers.
Or those companies can collude and just completely fuck over customers. But that would never happen, right?
I can’t think of a better reason to not like something than a genetic quirk, but apparently others disagree. That’s okay, I can accept that the majority is wrong.

I can generally agree, but unlike Cybertrucks, cross aren’t a disaster that puts people around them at risk. So people with poor taste isn’t enough reason for me to wish something was gone forever.
Looks okay, but #FuckCilantro

Hunger strikes aren’t to get the sympathy of the jailer, but of the people. It’s effectiveness is certainly debatable.

Cool, and I’m sure those who damaged the planes were prepared to be arrested. But now they’re arresting people for saying, “Hey, I think what those guys who damaged a plane are saying is right.” That crosses a line, for me.

You say that like it was an accident.

Why do you think he wants to end the populism?

I can be morally outraged by things that aren’t illegal. I might be morally outraged enough, and have enough people agree with me, to make that thing illegal. People used to get slapped or beaten for saying inappropriate things like this. These boys learned that the rules of polite society may not be upheld if they aren’t also polite.
It’s okay for people to get outraged that other people do shitty things. I don’t think that has much bearing since the kids in question did shitty and illegal things, but keep on holding onto that belief.

Your statement relies on the idea that the image is not the person. While that’s true, the image depicts the person. If I made a painting of child porn, it is still child porn, even though it has no literal duplication of the original image and relies on my imagination to come to fruition. Moreover, when I see a painting of a person, I can recognize them from it, and most people who can associate it with the person depicted and don’t think to themselves, “Oh, that’s an image that looks a lot like them, but am I sure it’s an image of them?” Either way, these images are defamation of the people depicted, which is still illegal. Also, they are still depictions of child porn, which are illegal in many jurisdictions, even if they don’t depict actual people, regardless of the hoops you want to jump through. Your quaint little image has an interesting point where it might make you a holder of child porn if you believe it’s child porn, but not me who just sees stick figures, but I don’t know if intent is relevant for child porn.

I’d rather see her be subject to the rule of law, or even vigilanteism, before I wanted to see the government doing still more blatantly illegal shit.

A lot of people mistake confidence with capability. So if you can say the stupidest shit like you mean it and never change your mind, there is a significant part of the population that will follow you, regardless of how stupid you are.
Voyager needs to support this. It will be beautiful. 🌽

I have a coworker that constantly talks like this, has little good to say about current or past partners, and makes remarks like my decisions are because my wife would be angry if I did things differently. I’m sorry if you treat your spouse like a sex object, a source of money, or a money sink, but that’s on your relationship and choices and has nothing to do with me or mine. To be frank, I think this poster fits him well.

You just change the definition of your isolated system. It takes less energy to move heat from one place to another than it does to excite matter to release energy. For resistive or combustion heating, the isolated system is your house, plus the gas if using gas heat. For heat pumps, you include the rest of the world.
As an aside, heat pumps are generally considered good when they reach 300% efficiency, i.e., when every watt of energy expended adds 3 watts of heat to your home.

This is no longer correct. We have heat pumps that can be more than 100% efficient, even air-sourced heat pumps in -30° weather. There are still many places where this will still be more expensive than a gas furnace.
Quality post!
