sounds like the SharePoint one of my previous employers used. Now, SharePoint supports folders! but, using it through Teams, like everyone did, with tens of thousands of files haphazardly vomited onto it randomly, meant that Teams literally can’t load the file list fast enough. So, again all information goes there to die.

Yeah, this sounds stupid, and I’m worried about the amount of power wasted by induction charging. Anyone who’s wirelessly charged a phone knows it can get quite hot; that’s wasted energy. And Indiana’s generation is still mostly natural gas and coal, so at some point, with enough losses in transmission and charging, you’ll end up with a higher-carbon vehicle than a diesel truck…
I am not sure what that point is, but the efficiency of charging is an important consideration in my mind.

unfortunately, that won’t necessarily prevent you from being price gouged. the stores themselves are algorithmically varying prices, so even with no middleman you can get screwed. (I remember Kroger was starting that a while back for example, they of course described it as targeted discounts).
obviously stuff like instacart etc. just add another layer of upcharge, so direct is cheaper in general
the article mentions 69 being skipped as well. I assume it’s pretty simple, just check it against the list and increment until it’s valid.

I sincerely doubt that you will be able to come up with any word describing such action in any real-world context that would not come with very nasty associations.
I feel like there could have been better names possible… d_recursive_kill perhaps? I’m certainly not an expert in this system but I find it challenging to believe that “genocide” was the only word that is adequately descriptive of the functionality.
In fact, I’d argue it’s not that descriptive, given that genocide involves targeting some group of people based on some trait, like race, culture, disability, etc. - based on the description “kill given dentry, along with all its children, all their children, etc.” that doesn’t seem to fit…

follow up work for any researchers: does shrimp understanding differ across WiFi versions? frequencies? other wireless protocols?
do they understand the concept of wired networking?

I am not sure lol. perhaps your ssh port isn’t exposed to the internet, or maybe the bots are just ignoring you? maybe your hosting provider has some sort of security process to reject those attempts preemptively?
