Don’t let perfect be in the way of better.

If you live in a first world country, living vegan is honestly not a problem at all. And of course I’m not counting the US here. These guys are just poor people that are challanged enough already.

People that only eat plants exist and they are doing totally fine.

Let’s say that plants really feel pain. How do we reduce that pain to a minimum? To get 1kg beef you need roughly 50kg plant matter. So eating only plants would be much more humane.

First month’s rent: That’s not an added moving expense. You pay rent every month regardless of where you live.

Yes, having the cash upfront for a new deposit while waiting for the old one to return is a real liquidity trap. But framing $4,000 as the absolute baseline to escape a rent increase is pure ragebait. It makes the poster sound like someone who has never actually had to do a budget, DIY move.

Most people don’t have 1.000.000 Euro to spend each month. If you are here to brag about your wealth it makes you sound even more like a douchbag.

Walls between apartments are usually 25cm thick brick walls or even concrete in Austria. Worked in the field. Drywalls are very unusual even inside a flat. Most of the time you have 12cm thick brick walls.

So a bullet going from flat to flat is veeeryyy unlikely.

In Europe 4-6weeks off per year are a norm. Some companies even offer unlimited sabbaticals. That’s why I go every other year on a 2 month vaccation + normal vaccation in between.
