Yeah NATO is a defensive alliance because we say so, just like the Nazis are socialists because they say. Is it safe to assume you support the democratic peoples republic of Korea?

Why would I bother? We both know how you act, so why would I waste time doing anything for you?
Libs and ableism really do go hand in hand. Its kind of funny how little scratching it takes for you types to reveal your chauvinism
“potential prisoner” is an odd way of talking about the Wehrmacht.
This is not the first comment explaining how, which is a neat example of it in itself
All of them
I want you to shut up. Pretty obvious.

Wow! What an outrageous thing for someone to do! Please show me the comment where they tell you to take your own life!
What? The murder of a bunch of Nazis? Or the murder of a bunch of royalists?

Yes, and you have been disrespectful from the start and you’re making the space worse and less welcoming, which is why we are mean to you.
Because of the way you say it and the way you engage with others. You keep trying to play this smol bean act, but we can all see how much of an ass you’ve been throughout this thread.
Oh hey yet another instance of making up something I didnt say! Maybe this thing you do where you read what you’d like people to have written instead of what they actually wrote, is part of the many problems you have.
What would be gained by creating a safe space for a beliggerent, obtuse, dickhead like you?
What is gained by treating your behavior and arguments with the ridicule they deserve?
You should not engage in a discussion in order to convince someone to change their mind, but if you do so, and you do it in a public forum, then you ought to understand the mind you’re changing is very rarely that of the person youre interacting with, but that of onlookers.
Finally, not everything is about some robotic desire to advance an ideological cause. Its pretty reasonable for people to react negatively, when you behave negatively. You behave like a smug prick, despite you being obviously uneducated on the subject you desire to speak, so naturally people treat you like a smug prick opening their mouth to talk when they ought to shut up and listen.
No, but you’re not owed a servile attitude and I think its pretty reasonably of me to treat you as I do, when you behave as you do
They do understand what youre saying. You dont have an answer but instead of just writing “I don’t have an answer for that, you have given me something to think about” you try to write a whole bunch of nothing to save face.

Yes.
NATO and NATO-members has broken several treaties, acted beliggerent towards Russia, has pursued brinksmanship since the 00’s, denied Russia entrance into NATO, kept increasing scaremongering rhetoric towards Russia, and constantly does military exercises with the express purpose of gaming out a war with Russia, or with the purpose of “deterring” Russia in the Baltic sea.
What is the history of NATOs “defensive” alliance? Bombing libya, bombing Yugoslavia, stopping people from intervening in genocides. What is the history of NATOs members? France is invading Mali, it controls the monetary policy of several African nations;, the US… Let’s just mention one: Cambodia… Okay let’s mention two: Afghanistan; Denmark is the lapdog of the US, now allowing military bases on Denmark proper as well - despite old treaties with Russia promising not to do this; the UK in modern days is likewise a US stooge, really most of the rest of NATO is. And NATO supports Ukraine, a nation that has been bombing its own ethnic minorities for 8 years, in breach of MINSK I and MINSK II.
Compare this to the agressive wars the “aggressive” “imperialist” Russian Federation has been involved in leading up to the war in Ukraine: 1st and 2nd chechen wars and the Russo-Georgian war. Both border wars, both with much more justification than ANY NATO invasion (though still highly condemnable.)
The Russian Federation is a reactionary nationalist capitalist hole in the ground, but it has pretty obviously been acting and reacting with understandable reasoning, in a predictable manner, especially compared to NATO.
Russia sought diplomacy several times before invading. After invading it has tried to negotiate for peace several times. Russia has sought diplomacy with NATO and NATO-members several times, and has been rebuffed almost always. The Nord Stream 2 pipeline was blown up by NATO-members. And, again, the “defensive” alliance has a long long history of aggressive engagements. God just look at what has been done to Syria or Egypt.
So: Looking at what lead up to the war, looking at the actions taken by the participants, looking at the actions taken during the war, looking at the reasoning and rhetoric of the participants; Yes I see a pretty clear motivation to pursue war with Russia from NATO.
