The most pleasant surprise I had with my 8bitdo pro 2 is it works with my switch, PC and Steam deck with a flick of the dual. So in less than a few minutes I can switch from MK8 with 4 controllers, to Sonic All Star Racing on PC, then to Trine on the deck with the same 3 controllers.

For me, this controller (neo Geo pad) worked so much better than anything else out there at the time, short of an arcade stick. The directional pad is what I wish all others would at least attempt to do, rather than four individual buttons.

I’ve never been more excited for new video game hardware since I was a kid, been begging for this for more than a decade. The superior directional input lives again!

Will they ever make a telescopic controller? The options available for this kind of product are very few.

I’m looking forward to this one. I never knew anyone with a NeoGeo growing up. I never have even seen one in person. It’ll be awesome to have have a more authentic experience.

      The Amazon listing says:

      • Bluetooth (for Android only), 2.4G wireless, or wired connectivity
      • Compatible with Windows and NEOGEO mini via 2.4G adapter/USB cable, and Android via Bluetooth

I don’t understand why they didn’t make it compatible with Switch and other consoles 8Bit-Do usually supports.

wonder why bluetooth only works for Android?

I thought the protocol was universal

They seem to offer a lot of their controllers in bluetooth or 2.4 ghz . It might be a licensing thing maybe a bluetooth variant will also be released.
