I’m not familiar with this spider and was hoping someone could identify it and advise if I should leave it be to monch on more bugs or remove it for human safety.

Having grown up mainly with the lines of orb weavers, wolf spiders, and jumping spiders, this fellow’s (probably actually female) appearance makes me a bit wary. I don’t particularly like the “waxy” look. And, it seems to have killed a yellowjacket or honeybee, so, I’d not be surprised if it has a bit of kick to its venom.

      Seems to indeed have an unpleasant (somewhat neurotoxic) venom and may require antibiotics for a bite but, it is in an area that’s not frequented by people or animals so, I’ll leave him be to monch on bugs.
