I’ve been getting old posts for ~24h or more. Today, I see posts from the weekend when I refresh the feed. Is this an SDF issue or a Lemmy issue? Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this question.
That’s not the new feed. That’s the active feed.
Ok, that aside, I’m used to seeing new content here. What changed?
Are you sure you didn’t have it set to “Hot”, “New”, or “Top Day” before?
I have always seen stale posts in the Active feed. I switched by default to “Hot” months ago so I’m not totally sure if Active has changed since then. Doesn’t look like SDF has installed a new Lemmy update recently (still 0.18.5).
I don’t think anything changed on my end, as I was seeing only old content on three devices: Memmy for Lemmy app on iPhone and iPad plus web on a Mac. However, I just noticed some new content on my phone, so we’ll see. I’ll investigate further when I have time (work-time where I live).
Seeing old posts is familiar. It was the exclusion of new content that led me to inquire. Thanks for responding.
I’ve noticed the same thing with my Hot sorting since my last reply (probably before too, now that I think about it, but I didn’t notice at first).
Now it looks like it’s back to normal. I’m not sure why. It might be because unsubscribed from some communities. Maybe try unsubbing and/or re-subbing and see if that jogs it?

I see this happen a lot when viewing new through the Sync app, so I assume its a Lemmy issue.
At this point, I’m seeing posts that are five days old in my feed. Something is whacky. It wasn’t like this for the last six months.
I am assuming this is a Lemmy issue, not an SDF issue, based on feedback. Happy to be wrong, if someone has different info. Either way, it’s making this a worse experience. It’s very different from what I was getting four days ago.
