They were renters of the home, so I doubt they were rich enough to be “well-connected”.
OTOH they were only charged with “Abuse of a corpse” and not, ya know, murder so maybe the bar in Alabama to be “well-connected” is just much much lower lmao
Well they still might get charged with murder, once the police determines that it’s appropriate.
If they’ve just found it, they might not have an idea who’s killed the teen yet.
