i dont own a car and live in a fairly unfriendly city. i could tell stories about carbrained shit all day but i’d be repeating myself over and over. the objection i made isn’t that it’s carbrained af, it’s that its probably fake and made up by a bot and never happened in the first place to farm karma by a bot, and then it was copied by a tabloid rag. it’s low, petty, dramatic shit that pushes all the right buttons for controversial engagement. i just don’t want to encourage engagement bait, that’s all.
i’d also like to say that i didnt have a hand in downvoting farts’ reply. i agree in principle with ‘be the change.’ i just would prefer silence over slop, is all. if i had more i’d post it. i’ll be on the lookout for more organic stuff to post in the future.
I’m directing the post stuff comment to everyone for what it’s worth: It’s mostly just me and Farts keeping the posts coming with a small handful of people submitting stuff here and there. It can be kind of frustrating sometimes, but that’s life as a mod in general I guess.

Anything with 2 wheels seems to really piss them off. Even smaller cars seem to upset them sometimes.
They don’t like when other people get to the same places as them for 1/3 the cost.

Was taking about smaller cars in the comment I replied to, but yeah on bikes it’s like single digit percentages sometimes.
I know cars with monthly payments greater than my bikes entire lifetime cost.

Seems like a pointless gripe to me: What’s he supposed to do? Move the motorcycle periodically? Take TWO spots? Wheel the motorcycle into his apartment and live with it?
Ok, I do that last one myself but it’s with a folding bike so it’s not really the same.
