We made Hearth, a free Windows desktop chat app for friend groups, game servers and small communities. Think servers with text + voice channels, DMs, roles, threads, custom emoji, screen share and push-to-talk, without ads or paid tiers.

Current version is 1.4.0 (Oct 19, 2026); we ship updates several times a week and keep a public changelog.

Plain facts before you download: Windows 10/11 only (64-bit), the installer isn’t code-signed yet so SmartScreen warns on first run, it runs on a hosted backend (not self-hosted), and there’s no source license published right now. Feedback and bug reports are welcome in the official server.
