At this point spite is more than reason enough to stay alive.
This fucking universe isn’t getting rid of me that easily.
still kicking, and will continue to kick. I will live and kick the shit out of the cruelty in this world for as long as my body persists and the world will be marginally less cruel to those who come after because of it.
The horrors persist but so do I.
I feel like the Billy Butcher version of this is essentially him suddenly waking up in a panic, which then very rapidly solidifies into a wry smile:
“Wakey wakey, cunt.”
Like he wakes up and curses God/reality, before getting out of bed.
