For anyone curious the lie was that I wrote a published history paper. I’ve written history papers but never pushed to get them published.
I really was allowed to start a fire in a school! I was working on fixing some of the 3D printers in my high school, and one of them had filament burned into the nozzle. So I, with supervision, was allowed to use a blowtorch to burn away the filament. Which started on fire for a brief period.
A Minecraft server I was doing art for was investigated by the fbi! One of the co-owners of it stole $50,000 from the project. Which triggered the fbi to investigate it and which killed it the project as we were not legally allowed to touch it anymore.
